Quitting in Place

I had never heard of this term before, but I dig it. Instead of resigning (and making it easier on the company) – “quit in place” aka basically stop working, but don’t resign, and make them get rid of you. Did someone say severance??? I started doing this, unwillingly, due to extreme burnout – and I realized the difference between busting your ass and doing nothing…is nothing. Coming from a big corporate environment, at least. (Yes, I know severance and unemployment terms can vary, but you get the idea.) Don’t quit…quit in place! https://www.businessinsider.com/overachievers-leaning-back-hustle-culture-coasting-employees-work
