Quitting job, need advice…

Hello all, need some advice. I am in my current position since November. I moved from Atlanta to Charlotte to take this position. After 10 weeks my employer took my GM position and demoted me to Director of ** essentially overseeing production in the construction business. This came after adding a Sr VP position that is overseeing the branch. I feel like it was a little bait and switch. I had no write ups or warnings. I believe that they are positioning themselves to be acquired and wanted to have somebody with a better pedigree as a leader. This also came with a salary change from 125k to 80k. This takes me back 10 years salary wise and the new position does not challenge me. So with that in mind, including a toxic culture and poor leadership, I will be getting a new job. I have 2 good interviews tomorrow.…

I have 2 good interviews tomorrow. When I get the new position, I can't imagine that they will keep me around for 2 weeks assuming that I would give it to them. Should I give 2 weeks? I don't want to lose out on any income if they were to let me go immediately upon giving notice. Plus I am ready to move on. I am not a bitter person but there would be some pleasure in giving my resignation and leaving immediately. It won't put any of my subordinates in a bad spot. There would be more of a workload for my VP. I would never use them as a reference and my reputation in the industry is above par. I am not worried about that. Any other negatives? Thanks in advance!
