Hello all.
I’ve been in this company from July 1st. I work in the IT sector.
And so far the company hasn’t given me the access to their systems. I have email and Teams. That’s all. I’ve asked, re-asked, and complain because I have nothing to do. Now that I recall, I didn’t even have an onboarding. Nothing. Abandoned since day 1.
Right now I am considering giving them a 2 weeks timeframe to give me the necessary accesses to do my job properly, or I’ll simply find something else. Also it doesn’t help the fact that my laptop has a policy that the screen will turn off after 5 min , so I can’t be away for more than 5 min without appearing as “away”.
So much fighting for working and doing what they supposedly hired me for sounds just absurd to say the least.
My question would be if you guys would write an ultimatum email to management to say , in a very sutil way , that “either I do my job here, or I’ll do it somewhere else”. I have a 2 weeks notice period.
