My current job is pretty okay; I currently make $22/hr. But I just got an offer for $30/hr. Clearly I’m quitting; I’m not turning down that much of a pay raise. But I still feel guilty. I’m not the only manager in our district who has been interviewing with other companies. Our pay is just too low to be competitive. I feel bad leaving my team with extra work until positions are filled. I feel bad leaving my boss, who I genuinely like. But I can’t let it hold me back in life.
