Raise prices and CEO pay while keeping worker pay stagnant? Lose a customer

How can we better figure out what companies to support with what little money we do have? I know a teeny lil boycott isn't going to scare Amazon, but honestly it just feels better to have stopped buying anything from that site for the past year. Then I read about other companies to consider dropping for the same reasons: Apple, Verizon, Starbucks, McDonald's, Coca Cola/Pepsico, Domino's, Kraft/Heinz, Goodyear Tires, Hanes and Under Armour. The story linked was helpful at understanding how CEO compensation remains the priority for corporations, not customers. So I don't want to give those companies my business. If anyone has any more companies to list (or the opposite: companies that have taken good care of their workers even as the prices of its wares have increased), I'd appreciate it.
