To preface this, I bought right before Covid-19 was a thing. I purchased my house for 205k (3Bed2Ba, 1,700sq feet)
I recently refinanced my house now paying $1,700 a month for 15 years at 3.25 interest rate.
This shit is fucking ridiculous. Even if I wanted to sell my house, I can’t because I wouldn’t be able to afford another house. My wife and I bring in $35~ per hour. You can’t fucking live by yourself anymore in this day of age. If you have kids fuck it. I’m surprised more people aren’t homeless and have a gym membership (for showers).
$15 hour minimum wage is not enough. $22 minimum wage needs to get here NOW.
Is this going to get better or worse??
