Can I ask why dress codes everywhere are so restricting? Have employers ever thought that having a “comfortable” employee would be a more efficient one? And I'm not talking about having a poor appearance or poor selection of clothes like sweatpants, but for instance WHY am I not allowed to wear a jacket when it's 20⁰F outside? What purpose does that serve? WHY can't I wear a damn pair of shorts when it's 90⁰F outside? I know woman could probably speak a bit more to this since I can see the craziness they put out in most companies' policies, but why as a whole do we just accept this as it is? I NEVER see another employee complaining about it hoping I'm not the only one
