Realised that I pay for my 7 hour shift within the first 10-15 minutes of working

I work at a bar in the UK earning minimum wage for an 18 year old (£6.83 ph). The bar I work at serves pints for roughly £5 give or take depending on the brand, but most nights I can serve 7-8 drinks within the first 15-20 minutes. I checked last night, and after working 6.5 hours (earning £44) on a not particularly busy night, I had taken over £1200 in drink sales. I saw a post on here earlier discussing similar things, but this has been bugging me a while and I wanted to get it off my chest because it seems like bullshit. Sidenote: I also have a second job in a small coffee shop where I earn the same wage, but take about £400-600 per 5 hour shift. Although I realise my wage is only a small chunk of that (a little under 10%) but I feel…

Sidenote:

Although I realise my wage is only a small chunk of that (a little under 10%) but I feel a lot less hard done by, and actually the atmosphere there is brilliant and I enjoy working there.
