Really struggling with the idea of having to go back to full time work.

For the past year I’ve been in a situation that has let me work part time and even though my money has been dropping, I haven’t been too worried about it. Just enjoying my new life of well having a life! But I’m to the point I have to go back to full time soon and I’m really not handling it well. This past year I’ve been taking up new hobbies, been spending as much time with friends and family as our schedules allow, I recently found a rabbit rescue and started volunteering, I have a pet rabbit that I love spending time with. I’m getting so depressed just thinking about this. I don’t want to give up all the things I’m enjoying. I want to keep making homemade soap and start a soap selling side hustle.

To keep canning foods. I love helping at the rabbit shelter, it’s way more fulfilling than work and if I had the money I’d do it full time instead of working. I dread so much going back to the, a friend or family wants to hang out but sorry I gotta work mandatory overtime or just I’m at work in general. This past year has shown me that I can have a life I enjoy, and even though I knew it would have to end, I’m not ready.

Sadly the only work experience I have is warehouse work and that generally means long hours and more than 5 days a week is common or just normal. I don’t know what to do with a business management degree at 35 years old and no management experience. Outside of a management program with long hours for years of work to try and move up. And to be honest I don’t want to move up in a company or become part of this shitty system. I just want a life that I can enjoy and that doesn’t include spending so much time at work. Hell I’d take a full time work from home job with far less complaint just so I can have my rabbit cuddled at my feet making it a lot more tolerable but I’m not having much luck with finding a solid one of those jobs.

Sorry for the rant, I just need to get it out of my head. I know as an American this is just the life I’m dealt with but damn I’m struggling. If my rabbit passes for whatever reason while I’m at work, I’m just gonna be done.
