So my boss explained that she has to pay taxes just for having employees. I make 14$ an hour but she said she basically has to pay 18$ an hour. So that's 4 $ an hour she has to pay in taxes. We are in the United States. Maybe this is why they won't pay us more? 14 an hour is basically the cap for the position im in.
