recording at work

A bit of background, I am a carer but work 18 hours a week at a clothing store. When starting was told I would be in the stock room doing deliveries and some organisation of the space between. Anyway I'm about 4 months in now and it has become apperent she essentially hired me as a stock room manager just without the title or freedom to make choices within the stock room in order to make it run faster. Anyway the hours suited me and I was happy to keep busy and the boss seemed happy enough with me until maybe a month ago when she told me I couldn't listen to the radio or audio books while working (it is only me in there) but yeah whatever a bit of a bummer but policy I get it. But her attitude towards me has just become gradually more hostile. Like…

Anyway I'm about 4 months in now and it has become apperent she essentially hired me as a stock room manager just without the title or freedom to make choices within the stock room in order to make it run faster. Anyway the hours suited me and I was happy to keep busy and the boss seemed happy enough with me until maybe a month ago when she told me I couldn't listen to the radio or audio books while working (it is only me in there) but yeah whatever a bit of a bummer but policy I get it. But her attitude towards me has just become gradually more hostile. Like her language is not in itself rude but the tone in which she makes statements towards me has just become extreme. Bassicaly it feels like she's saying/treating me the way she wishes but doesn't treat her husband at home. Iv just been getting paranoid as there is no recording devices in this stockroom and she is so unpredictable that she could say anything could happen back there. I have started pushing record on my phone the moment I clock in. Also on a side note after years of suspicion I finally recently got officially diagnosed with dyspraxia. Alot of the harsher criticisms she has thrown at me actually allign with the diagnosis but I don't even know if I should come foreword with the diagnosis or not. I am working in Ireland by the way. I suppose I am more so wondering if recording audio in the workplace could potentially back fire in a way I had not predicted.
