Rectuirers not sharing job details without a call

I currently live in Belgium in a candidate market (I am a software engineer). I have a steady income of messages on Linked-In (10 / month in normal times, 10 / week if I put “open to work” label). What pisses me off, is that 1 / 3 of the message I get have the following format: Hello ________, I have an opportunity for you, what is the best number to reach you? I routinely ignore messages that don't share salary range, so I wondered what is the point of those ones. Out of curiosity I messaged back to one other. Long story short, he would not give me the exact location of the prospective employer unless we have a call.
