Today I went in to try and donate plasma. They asked me what meds I was on and they told me to list why I was taking them. I was legally required to list my diagnoses, so I did.
And they basically treated me like some sort of freak after the fact, and told me I was permanently deferred from donating plasma, just because of my schizophrenia.
I needed the money. Times are rough right now with my gf, we’re barely keeping alive with the amount of food we have to last us until food stamps refill in the beginning of august.
I applied for SSI a few months ago, but it’s still in process and will be for a while so that’s not reliable. I cant work, and I need money to live
But now I think I need to get a job, (in this horrible state of working I’m scared to just seeing what’s happening on this subreddit)
will this mess with my SSI application if they find out? I’m desperate for cash right now.
