Remote monitoring alternatives

I'm a self-employed I/T consultant. One of my clients CEO asked me today about options to monitor their employee's when working remotely. I told them there's several 'technology' options to do this, but I recommended that the better way would be for them to look at the outcome vs spying on them. I told her that any monitoring/spying software could be easily bypassed and she said, “well how can I tell if they're not working?” Her word “not” injected there was the word that perked me….and I assume that she thinks WFH gets her less productivity. Just in my experience, WFH is the best way…and this client can easily be 100% WFH. Does someone have news stories, studies, links handy to show where WFH employees have better productivity? (Better lifestyle, happier employees, more freedom)
