Where I work, the hiring manager wanted to hire someone to work at our restaurant 6 days/80 hours per week.
I asked him if he would consider splitting it into two jobs, one 3 days per week and one 4 days. So, you know, the people could have a life.
At first he was reluctant, because he wanted one manager and one set of rules. But after thinking about it, he took my advice!
Now two people have jobs, and they can both enjoy life.
