Not sure if theres anything like this, but I firmly believe any real movement should provide resources to the working class to get to a better place.
Are there resources available for people who want to get out of industries that theyve found to be exploitative/bad for them? I have tried to give advice to some people on how certain skills theyve got from working may be considered transferable to an industry that may be better suited for them. If people have to work to survive, they at least should have some power over where they'll get exploited.
Obviously people can say “you should try to change the environment you're in!” But putting that expectation on people whos skills may be outside of front line confrontation and changes (some people are nurturers, or can impact movements via teaching vs enacting change against the odds) or maybe they cant afford to lose a job by pushing back because they don't have the financial cushion. We should have resources to help our fellow working class be as comfortable as they can. And I'd like to recommend any resources (that may exist on reddit or beyond) to some people who I think could use it
