Return to office change of heart

Has anyones company set a RTO date recently then change it to give people the option to stay fully remote? It’s crazy how covid just disappeared when a war started… but whatever… that’s not what I’m as mad about… With all of the rising prices most people are making a lot less than they did a year ago technically. Any companies letting you remain remote so people can save money on daycare, gas, and other costs? To spend money on gas, food, clothes, and other things just to go into the office 2-3 times a week would cost around an extra 200-400 a month… would rather save that money working from home… I looked at my teams schedule for for a first week back and we have 1, 30 minute meeting planned for less than 5 people. I looked at my teams schedule for for a first week back and we have 1, 30 minute meeting planned for less than 5 people. The other meetings are still virtual due to most of the team being global for that week. So I’m going to go to the office to still do my zoom meetings online? Amazing.

We talk about corporate America spitting in our face… this is as blatant as it gets…
