Revered and feared

I've never had much 'loyalty' to any company. With that said, I realized quite a long time ago employers aren't something to be feared. They are OUR customer. We provide a service to them, with our finite resource being our life. I realize that often times harder to find a new customer than keep your current one (or ones, for some people), because of their circumstances. So many people think of employers as something to be feared though. We're adults. Act like it, and like you – yourself are a business. If you are not happy with your current financial agreement – terminate it. Fire them. Also, the terms “I am a” referring to your position infers that you are seeing you're identity and purpose as your job. In relation to wages “they gave me” – no, they offered. They aren't 'giving' you anything, unless you're providing nothing in return.…

The mindsets in our country need to change, and they slowly are. There has been so much conditioning, and reinforcement of that conditioning which needs to change for the betterment of our lives.
