My roommate called out sick (while at work) a couple weeks ago because he was throwing up on shift (he threw up like 5 times in a row and kept throwing up) and they stopped scheduling him at all a week later because “they weren't sure if he was going to make it”. Hes there for every shift and has been since the incident but he called out today because there was a serious medical crisis in the house and aome lady, with an accent, said “You call out every week. We cant do that”. He hasn't called out ever since he was throwing up. Anyways, were in Berkeley, CA at the (L) {ooooooooo} (yessuh) oop gas station where he works graveyard shift and since he hasn't been able to call out, it's caused some major issues because hes has to go to work sick and yeah… he doesnt want to say anything and has mostly been complacent because hes worried about losing his job. Therefore, I censored the company name. Please, any advice?
