Rude manager or overthinking

Hi. I have a question. For context, I hurt my back the other day and had to call off work since it was killing me (texted my manager). I was hoping I'd be ok the next day to work, however my back is hurting but not as bad. But my job is pretty physical and taxing. So I ended up calling off again. (I did tell my boss why I was calling off) A couple of hours later, my boss texts me and tells me if it's that bad, then I need to seek medical attention. (Not exact words of my boss). And I don't have back problems (I didn't use proper body mechanics and ended up hurting myself). The only thing I'm questioning here is this: can my boss butt their nose into my personal affairs like that?
