Not really antiwork as much as employees reclaiming power in the job search space. I have a good job and am not looking to move from my company, but I constantly am reached out to from recruiters asking if I’m interested in this position or that position. Like I said, I am not, but I always respond by saying that I would be open, but to not waste time I need to know the salary range for the position before I discuss it any further. 90% of the time I never hear from them again. I do this to try and increase the perception that this is something candidates are now requiring. Two questions with what I’m doing.
1. Is anyone else doing this/is it worth my time to do this?
2. Am I an asshole for wasting the recruiters time when I’m not interested even though 90% ghost me after I ask the question anyway.
