One thing I'd like to point out about Americans “letting” the government and the ultra rich steal from us is: what else are we to do? you refuse to pay your taxes, you get the IRS knocking on your door. wanna find a job that gives you “good” healthcare and benefits? Take on a few tens of thousands of dollars of student debt and get in line behind everyone else who had that idea. Don't get a job at all! they cant take money from you if you don't make money! yeah, sure, because being unemployed anywhere in the world works out great, let alone america. Ah but theres one thing we can do, one thing that /really can/ work: Vote. Vote for who? The red looters or the blue looters? you could vote for an independent, i guess, and in the one in a million chance that enough of america votes for them too (in the right places, because electoral college) then the red a blues call recounts until they've bought enough time to fudge the numbers enough that one of them wins instead. and assuming you get your independent candidate through ALL THAT, These people are rich enough to kill anyone they want and pay off enough investigators that it'll just be dropped. I mean, we can't even find the guy who killed Jeffrey Epstein, presumably because enough politicians have raped his child slaves that they don't want us to find out. Oh, and these elections happen on such a timetable that you only get about 15 chances in your entire life, IF the year you turn 18 also happens to be an election year. And forget leaving the country, if you weren't skilled enough to get one of the better paying jobs with good benefits I mentioned earlier already, no other country in the world wants you, not to mention that you have to pay the government to leave!
