I’ve been working my job for around 6 months and was hired to work the morning shift which is 7am to 3pm, sometimes it’s changed by an hour but that’s fine. However, yesterday I saw on the schedule that they scheduled me from 12pm to 8pm in a position I’ve never worked without talking to me about it.
This was also on a weekend where I will usually have plans after work. When I told my manager they said that the other employees have seniority but I feel like this is unfair, I constantly do extra work to help things run smoothly and I work hard. What should I do?
