Guys I need some advice. I was given a severance contract from my previous employer promising two weeks of severance if I chose “not to accept the restructuring of your position” as I knew the location was closing. They were a clusterfuck when the place was closing so I put in a two week and verified with my boss that I was not accepting the restructuring of my position. Now they are saying I’m not owed the severance because I quit. This is 1600 that I really need. I don’t think it’s worth calling a lawyer. What would y’all do?
