My workplace has blamed me twice behind my back to a supervisor for my check being shorted. They said I didn't tell them that they had screwed up. I didn't know that they had screwed up until they shorted my check of course. And now it's being going on for 6 weeks with a blame game transferring the problem around to different departments. I can't tell if they are trying to get people to quit, trying to scam money from their employees, or just so spectacularly incompetent that they can't figure out how to pay their employees. I hate to start over somewhere else but I'm not sure I can take that much apathy and incompetence any more.
