A situation came up where I work when I asked one of my coworkers to to wear gloves when re-wrapping a sandwich that I made, she took offense to that request and declined, I threw away the sandwich when she left to get something for the order and remade it and finished setting up the order myself.
Since then she left the line and was speaking to other coworkers and assistant managers that were on shift and did so for the remainder of the lunch rush leaving me and one other coworker to fend for ourselves being unwilling to get pastries or run orders which is they’re end of the stores job.
I brought it up the the group chat we all have and now I’m being flamed for it by every other coworker.
As I take it this isn’t an issue of they’re opinion rather the law, and I’ve been defending my self in the gc for a while now, ensuring everything is very well documented ofc, I’m not antagonizing anyone, but should I drop this and bring it to something above them at this point ?
