Should I expect better after 10 years

Hit 10 years service, no absences, no performance issues, no complaints. Requested to discuss salary and opportunities as I’ve had little changed in my most current role for 4 years, new employees are starting on a salary close to mine in order to attract talent to the business so I feel my loyalty isn’t valued. This was the feedback when I asked for 3k per year more and highlighted achievements and where I see myself; “The management would ask, can someone else do the job for the same money and are you replaceable? – the answer is probably yes” I expected something different after 10 years but it was a good wake up call and says a lot about the business.
