Should I let my managers use me?

We have two major OKRs this quarter where we need to completely overhaul the existing process. In the Lattice platform, OKR 1 owner is my boss (supervisor) alone and OKR 2 owner is my boss' boss (dept manager) alone. However, during our meetings (separately), it seems that I will be the only one who will drive the OKR (creating the documentations, managing the teams, and executing the completion of the project). They know I am a responsible guy who will complete the project no matter what, but should I be okay with completing these major projects without any credit? I've been used a lot before by my former bosses and didn't do anything. What's the ideal way to manage these? My personal career goal is to be a manager of direct reports myself if that would help.
