Shut down an interview – Be remote if you say you are

I applied for what looked like a great position in my field. I travel a lot for work, and haven't been required to go to an office for years. This potential employer posted openings as 'fully remote'. During the interview they told me I would be expected to show up for an in-office day once a week at one of their hub locations. The nearest being 340 miles from me. They were shocked when I started laughing. I asked if they were going to pay for my flights every week. Of course not – they wanted me to move to be closer. No relocation package. The pay wouldn't be higher. I wished them a very wonderful day and hung up. What a waste of my time.
