I find it sickening, no pun intended, that we don't get paid sick days. (I work in the USA.)
I was out for about two weeks sick with Covid, couldn't get out of bed much less work, and my paycheck, or lack thereof will be suffering.
Why does being sick for a week or two have to overdraft my bank account into oblivion?? Why does my wallet have to suffer while I am also suffering? What the hell are we supposed to do??
On top of no money, rising costs everywhere. Gas is ridiculously expensive, and so are groceries, and yet record corporate profits.
We need to end this because I can't take anymore.
