Good morning everyone, simple question here. I’m a disabled vet in the US and I work part time in a store, a lot of times we are alone until our relief arrives and I don’t like working one minute past my scheduled work hours. I don’t have keys to lock up. If my coworker doesn’t show up and I were to just leave without securing the store could they come after me legally? If people decide stuff is free I obviously know I can get fired. I’d basically be quitting if I ever did it.
