Okay so I will start this off saying I love being a single mom most of the time. However since I started back working it has become difficult. Okay so I work at a daycare admittedly I only started to work there so I can get my child into daycare no places had room but this place did if I got a job. So at this place if you work there you get an employee discount I still pay 420 dollars a month more than a lot of the non employee parents there. Well today i had to leave early to sign a lease to a new apartment yay! But there was a rule to not bring children to the lease signing because it takes a long time and kids get fussy and such. Well i was thinking since i still pay for child care (more than i get paid per hour i may add) i could leave her there till i got done but nope! Per policy no one who gets employee discount can leave their children after they clock out. I have no one to watch her its just me. And they didnt bother to tell me this policy till last minute today not when i was hired or in the four months of me working there. Im just annoyed that now i cant rely on the child care i pay for to watch my child when i cannot.
