Hello ! I work as a graphic designer for a small business. Most of my work consists of filling the same templates for different customers. Recently, I have been getting tasks that will contribute to the eventual automation of my biggest work load ( like exporting work I have done in a different format for their new software) Since I am a freelancer, this represents a huge loss of money. How do I politely tell them that asking me to help them with the process of losing my hours feels like a bit cheap ?
