I work at subway. I'm currently working to get the manager role at my shop because we only have a stand-in at the moment not a proper manager. The stand in supposedly wants me to take the job.
Now yesterday I was given the responsibility of managing rotas (no extra pay mind you) and I sent it out when it was finished to immediately be told by one staff member 'I'm not working sunday because I'm getting drunk Saturday night' my response was it's too late to change the rota so she needed to find someone to swap shifts with. The stand in agreed with me.
Head forward to this morning, I wake up to a new rota sent out by the stand in that took this member of staff off sunday and GAVE ME THE SHIFT INSTEAD. I am fuming and so sick of snakes in workplaces, if the stand in had said she disagreed, I would've just changed the rota myself! But now I look like an asshole just for trying to be consistent. Fuck this shit.
