I’ve been using LinkedIn as a way to look for jobs recently but it is functionally useless because there is no verification process before a job is posted, meaning anybody can say they are representing this company and looking to hire for this job, but it’s just a scam. LinkedIn is functionally useless because you don’t use it to look for jobs, you use it when you have a job and you post these dumb think pieces about how millennials ruined the economy because they don’t want to work in the office anymore.
The newest scam is representing a job from a foreign company (based somewhere other than the US for a U.S. resident for example) and the position is remote. But the hiring staff are conveniently able to interview right away, but only through text?
Just don’t even use LinkedIn anymore, it does not serve the purpose it is supposed to lol.
