I am so done with not getting breaks and being understaffed in healthcare! I’m a cna and most of the time I end up working in a dementia unit… which is fine! My issue is that I never get a break. I’ve been working at this place and other facilities like it for 7 years and it’s all the same… totally understaffed, always too many people to take care of, and not nearly enough money or respect for what we do! Sometimes I am the only aide in charge of around 40 people…. That is definitely not safe and I don’t want something serious to happen just because healthcare faculties can’t bother to staff properly because they’re trying to save money 🤦️🤦️
