People of r/antiwork I feel you. I really do. The relentless day after day hell of working for cold, callous corporations. The power tripping middle management. The rude and unreasonable customers.
But what are you going to do about it?
Because if all you’re going to do is complain on Reddit then nothing is going to change for you.
If you’re in the service industry and you don’t have any qualifications then it’s going to be difficult for you to get out. Not impossible. Not unlikely. But difficult. It won’t happen by chance. You’ve got to make it happen.
If you’re finding the lack of respect, poor pay & uncertain future is a drag now then I’m sure you can imagine it’ll be worse if you’re still doing it in your 40s & 50s.
