My SO sent me a pic of their facilities contribution to their social work staffs appreciation month. Their supervisor brought these treats in after lower paid entry workers asked if there were any plans to do anything before the month is over. As soon as I saw the pic, I knew exactly where to go. u/antiwork <3 support group <3! Only a couple of days left in the month & their supervisor walks in with a few of these tasty treats to end their month with an underwhelming bang! This a group of folks who work in a city populated with unhoused, medically complex & marginalized peeps, who have been working nonstop in the middle of a pandemic, with harder restrictions, & limited local resources to do Gods work.
