So got a job as an assistant manager at a retail store, shifts for me are usually from 10:30-7:30 but the real kicker is that you actually stay past 7:30 every night because no one has the balls to tell customers that our store is closed- end up leaving at around 8 or later every night w/ no pay. My first shift I noticed a hand written sign by the store manager that said “NO ONE GOES HOME UNLESS THE STORE IS 100% CLEAN NO MATTER WHAT TIME YOU LEAVE”, really got me thinking about it this is somewhere that I want to work considering they believe using passive aggressive notes is a way to encourage your employees to work past the end of their shift regardless of time. Looking for a new job now lol
