I’ve been a pharmacy tech in a hospital setting for 5 years. I just obtained my MBA in healthcare administration last June. I went back to school in hopes that my hospital and pharmaceutical experience would land me in a higher role of project management or something along the lines. After I graduated, I dropped from full time to per diem status to make my own schedule and avoid drama in my department, especially my supervisor. It’s almost a year and I still haven’t found a new career path. I won’t go into detail because I’ll just end up ranting into a long long post, but basically, I need to leave this job and find something else soon with a little more prestige to what I want to do. My mental health is declining and I’m on the verge of calling out management because of how poorly they run the department. Any advice? Any thoughts? Any career leads? Anything would be great!
