I was supposed to have a zoom interview for a job on Friday, which was also my birthday (this is not an important detail but whatever). I joined at the scheduled time, 2:30. And then 5 minutes passed. then another 5. I thought, okay, the interviewer should be joining any minute now, surely.. but boy was I wrong! After 20 mins, I emailed the admin who set up the interview, and the supposed interviewer. No response. After 55 mins, I left the zoom. On TUESDAY, I finally received an email from the admin, saying that the interviewer had a meeting on Friday that they couldn't get out of. Pretty fun that jobs can waste your time before the interview can even start! Happy birthday to me, I guess…
