I work in a firm which was acquired by the one of the biggest media company in world.
Here's the problem
I get paid $200 a month.
Out of which $53 is only given when I am not absent and work night shifts.
My rent – $80
Gas – 5$ per gallon
Food – I have to think twice before ordering even a basic meal so I usually go without eating in my shift or I oats or bread
I have been employee of the month twice, perfect attendance for 3 months and numerous praise emails from clients.
After 5 quarter of reviews and assessment, someone told me upcoming appraisal after 1y 6 months is just $20.
Management is floating in money, like living a better or equal lifestyle to europeans.
