Walk, Bike, or take a bus. Driving is a fundamental privilege, not a right or need. it's a WANT.
I can see how my opinion sounds a bit cold. For many, bus transportation can be out of reach in rural areas. But the times we live in now compared to our great grandfathers and mothers times,.its incomparable. They're are options Weve' become too comfortable and reliant on other countries to support our own ways of living and working. And this is coming from someone who owns a car, but chooses to take buses whenever possible to save because the prices keep going higher, and yet my pay rate stays the same. Adaptation is an uncomfortable feeling and many simply are not willing to change their habits because they still focus on what they don't have, instead of what they do.
