Currently it feels like my girlfriend and I are stuck in this horrible rut where we are too poor to improve our living situation but earn too much to be getting any more assistance.
I work as a kitchen hand 2 to 3 nights a week but I don't want to be doing this anymore as every week I earn from this job, centrelink lowers my low income pay because of the money I earned by working. So I never earn enough to fix the situation
I want to try and improve our lives and move to an industry other than hospitality but that's the only thing I have any qualifications in (everything else I either know or can do I don't have qualifications for) . I really just want to earn at or around 70k a year as that would be enough for me and my girlfriend. I really don't know what to do though to get anywhere close to that and we are in an almost desperate need for help at this point.
