With the multiple strikes following a lack of negotiations from the UK government and threats of job cuts, along with worsening work conditions and maintenance of British railways (putting both workers and customers at risk), our railway workers have been striking over the past couple of months.
Amidst the cost of living crisis, we can't expect workers to forfeit their (lacking) pay during their battle to preserve a necessity of the public.
If you would like to support the RMT union and aid the workers during these uncertain times, please consider donating here: https://www.rmt.org.uk/about/national-dispute-fund/
We can't expect better workers' rights if the government chooses to make an example of strikers and fellow labourers through forced poverty. So little as £5 from enough supporters can make a difference.
We need to support everyone, or we will be supporting no one.
