This week I got pulled into the office to talk about time theft. Clocking in, then not getting straight to work, pouring myself another coffee and reading my book for a minute instead. They showed me print outs, and I took it on the chin, like, “Yep, I did that. Whoops. Won’t happen again.”
THEN, they shared a picture of me moving my truck to the staff parking lot on my break. Apparently, that’s time theft because they pay me to move my truck and doing so on my break is a waste of valuable company resources?
Can someone please explain this to me? What am I missing?
