System is down at my office, management still made us come in even though we can’t do anything.

What the title says.

This is made even worse for a couple reasons

1. We have remote workers, the system is only down in the office and still able to be accessed by our remote workers. This is a hybrid position (we work from home once a week) so we all have the resources to work from home and do our job today but management made us come in to do nothing.
2. The system broke a few hours ago, I’m second shift which means I come in a few hours after our we open. Management was made aware of the problem, made aware that remote workers were having no issues, and instead of allowing everyone to work from home for the day they still made us come in.

Writing this post from my desk on my phone. I’m here for another 7 hours, if they want to pay me to do literally nothing just so they can say I was at the physical office for 8 hours so be it.
