As I was doing taxes, it reminded me again that inflation not only makes products cost more, it also moves us into higher tax brackets, even though our wages aren't keeping up with inflation. Even for those of us that get at 2% or 3% raise, like myself, I am losing 4% to inflation, and then my taxes go up also, so I'm losing even more than the 4%.
