Team baseball event vs. study

When I was in my early 20s, I was trying to get into a 4 year school via a community college (my high school GPA was a 1.5). I was taking classes exclusively on Tuesday and Thursdays, so I could work full-time and pay my way through school. The next summer, I enrolled into a 4 year college with a direct admission in my program. Ended up graduating Summa Cum Laude and taking my pick on where I wanted to go career wise.

Fuck the crab bucket.

TL;DR your team softball event can pound sand, imma do me.
