We're in 2022 with inflation and that's the max the recruiter wants to pay. Meanwhile Amazon warehouse workers, Uber drivers, Pizza delivery drivers and school bus drivers are making more than $22/hr but the recruiter here in America wants me to accept a $21/hr position that requires lots of skills and knowledge and has a lot of workload.
Like what on Earth? The recruiter mentioned the client is direct placement and that's as high as their budget allows. It's a big finance company too.
I'm an educated guy with Bachelors and impressive IT resume. What a crazy world.
